NewsKINGS HOST MATT BROWN FUNDRAISERDate: Feb 04, 2010 Foxboro, MA- The South Shore Kings organization will be holding a fund raiser weekend, to help cover some of the costs associated with Norwood High School hockey player Matt Brown's rehabilitation. Matt was injured on Saturday, January 23rd, when he fell into the glass during a The Kings will be holding youth events during their games against the New York Apple Core on Saturday, at 5:00 PM and on Sunday, at 11:50 AM. Saturday's game will feature a 50/50 raffle and "Noise Night" where the youth hockey teams that are present will have a chance to win a practice and a pizza party with the EJHL South Shore Kings team. The Kings players and organization will also be selling raffle tickets with the chance to win great prizes that include 2 tickets to the Beanpot final, 2 tickets to a Bruins game with a parking pass, and the grand prize: 4 tickets to the "Boardroom at the Garden", for the Bruins vs Toronto Maple Leafs game on March 4th. The Kings players will be selling raffle tickets at the Foxboro Sports Center starting Friday night at 5:00 pm and tickets will be sold through the end of the Apple Core game, on Sunday. The winners will be drawn after the Kings vs Apple Core game on Sunday, and they will be notified by phone.
